What is it?

A half season program designed for beginner curlers, ages 5 - 8, wanting to start a new sport, and are not quite old enough for our Curl for Kids program.

Weekly instructor lead sessions ensure our curlers are safe and learning skills, while also having fun! Sessions run on Sundays from 1:15 - 2:00 pm.

Particiapnts will learn rcurling ettiquette, and the mechanics and physical skills it takes to become a pro curler in no time!

Each class, curlers will work on fundamental skills, including:

  • Throwing
  • Sweeping
  • Team work
  • Sportsmanship

These sessions are held twice per season, October - December, and January - March and you can register for one or both sessions!

What Do I Need to Bring?

Just yourself... and some clean running shoes and a helmet!

The Callie has free broom and slider rentals for all our curlers.

We do recommend that the Curlers come prepared for the elements, though. We suggest stretchy pants (sweat pants, leggings, exercise pants, etc.) and warm clothing. Helmets are required.
