Temporary Closure - November 24 - November 30, 2020

Due to the recent outbreak declared at the Highland Curling Club, and out of an abundance of caution to protect the Heath and Safety of our members, our board has made an immediate decision to suspend play for a period of one (1) week to allow enough time to better understand the potential impact on our club and any cross exposure that may have occurred.

We were disappointed to learn at a Curl Regina Meeting held yesterday evening the extent of the outbreak and potential exposure of our members who were in attendance at the event held Nov. 13-15th.

Your health and safety is important.

We encourage all members who were in attendance, or came in direct contact with a Curler who participated in the spiel at the Highland, to isolate immediately and contact the Saskatchewan Health Authority for direction.

Your safety is our utmost concern.

Over the next week, our club will carefully monitor the situation unfolding and ensure enhanced cleaning of our facility occurs before welcoming you back to the ice.

We will plan to send a followup communication on Monday, November 30th with further direction.

If you have any concerns, or pertinent information to share with us, please feel free to reach out by telephone.

Take care and stay safe,

Callie Curling Club Board of Directors
